A. Ben's conception of the American Dream was to make life easier by inventing things that were useful in life.

Q. "Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise." means?
A. Ben meant that if a man went to sleep early he would recieve enough sleep thus making him healthy, and also wise because most of the community's events often took place during the evening and if one would wake up early enought they'd be able to get a move on in their day. Also, by going to bed early and waking up early, you'd have a healthy schedule and be able to have more time to think about important things rather than sleep.

  1. At the age of 70, Benjamin Franklin was the oldest delegate to sign the Declaration of Independence on July 2, 1776.
2. While Ben experimented with a kite, he discovered that lightning was an electrical discharge.3. Ben was known as the "Water American" because in England he preferred to drink water instead of alcohol
4. He invented biofocals because he found it tiresome to keep having to put his glasses on and off.
5. In 1757, Ben brought a bill, which requested for streets to be paved for better use. 6. Ben designed streets lights that required less cleaning because it was less air resistant and thus caused less soot to gather on the lights.
7. In 1751, Ben helped found the first hospital located in Pennsylvania. 8. Ben organized the first volunteer fire fighting club in 1736. 9. Ben Franklin was creator of day lights savings time, he felt everyone should rise and set witht he sun. 10. Growing up, Ben loved to swim so to increase his speed he created swim fins.
